Weekend Teasers! | York and Georgetown Maine Family Photographer

After a weekend of worrying about weather forecasts and planning around storms and travel, I am reminded that sometimes the risk is so worth the reward. On both Saturday and Sunday, I spent most of my day agonizing over rapidly changing weather and storm forecasts while communicating with my families. Both nights we decided to go for it, and I am SO happy we did, because I had back-to-back nights with absolutely incredible light, gorgeous skies, and two families with whom I love working year after year. Saturday evening I headed south to York Harbor to meet the “A” Family, who were treated with incredible cotton-candy skies with storms off the coast. Last night I headed north to Reid State Park in Georgetown to meet the “G” Family, who were greeted by a fog bank rolling in over the islands and eventually enveloping us completely. It was a weekend for the books, and I cannot wait to share more from both of these truly spectacular evenings and families.
