The W Family | New Gloucester Maine Family Photographer

It’s hard to believe that not even twenty minutes before my session with the W Family it looked like a winter hurricane outside. The wind was practically toppling trees, hail, rain, and snow were falling from the sky and together Jodi and I made the brave decision to load up the cars and go for it. I’m so glad that we did, because by the time we all made it to Pineland Farms, the sky had turned blue, the sun was out, and we were treated to a stunning evening in the woods and on the gorgeous grounds of the farm.

I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know most of this family over the past few years. A few months ago, I shared Sophie’s senior photos, and I was so excited when her mom reached out again afterwards to schedule family photos as well. Bringing together Jodi and Aaron, Sophie, Lucy, Ben, and Jodi’s mom Karen, I had the unique opportunity to capture this close-knit blended family together. I absolutely love the way these guys interact – with a calm silliness, huge smiles, and and obvious amount of love and connection. They are so blessed to have each other, and I feel very honored to have been asked to capture them together. Here are my favorites from our fun evening together!
