The V Family | Wells Maine Family Photographer

For several years now, I’ve wanted to check out and shoot at Laudholm Farm in Wells. My family and I finally visited this summer, and so when Valerie asked me if there was any place I’d been wanting to try out, I jumped at the chance to take their photos there. I’m so glad I did. The past two sessions with these guys have been challenging – with brutal whipping winds at Spring Point two years ago, and a sick and very unhappy kiddo for most of last year’s session in Portsmouth. They were due for some awesome, and even though there were raindrops on my windshield as I drove south to meet them, the clouds held off, and it was awesome that we got. The farm’s big open fields were perfect for letting Jack run and play, and the vast views and pretty trails gave for scenic variety on an evening with soft, pretty light. I’ve known these guys for almost ten years now, and they feel more like friends than clients, so seeing them each year and watching Jack grow is so fun and special. Here are my many favorites from this year’s session.
