The T Family {At Home} | Boothbay Maine Family Photographer

A few weeks ago, I headed north to Boothbay for my annual session with the extended T Family – a family so full of love and light, and a group that I truly look forward to seeing year after year. After last year’s incredible session on Squirrel Island, I wondered if we could even come close to the magic we experienced, and apparently the good these guys put into the world is well-rewarded, because we were indeed treated to another truly special evening once again. Like last year, I drove north in rain, unsure of what I would find when I arrived at Nancy and Bruce’s home. As I approached Boothbay, looking towards incredibly dark skies, I checked in with Nancy who assured me it was dry at her house. I wasn’t so convinced, but arrived to the one pocket in southern Maine that appeared to be untouched by drenching downpours, and felt like luck was surely on our side once again. We started with a few fun photos on the swing in the yard with the kiddos and then headed down a pathway to a little opening along the water that overlooked Sawyer Island. At first I was a little worried that it would actually be TOO bright, but as the sun descended, we were treated to incredible cotton candy skies, and of course all of the love and laughter that this crew brings to the table. I’m so grateful for each and every one of these amazing humans and am so excited to have another year of memories captured for them.
