Love what you see?
Fair warning, today’s blog post is a long one. But when you get to spend two hours with a gorgeous family doing all of your favorite summer in Maine things, on a night with pretty much the most perfect light ever, well, it’s hard to pick just a few to share. Allyson (the talented eye behind Sweet Pea Photography), Sky, 11-year-old Avery, and 8-year-old Eden spent their Fourth of July week visiting Maine from Illinois, and wanted a photo session that not only captured some of their time here, but also themselves just being natural as a family. We headed to the Lobster Shack at Two Lights in Cape Elizabeth where we explored the rocks and tidepools at low tide, and then headed up to the restaurant (a personal favorite summer spot of mine – a must go if you’ve never been!) where they braved their first ever lobster disassembly. We finished our time with some traditional family photos and rock skipping on the beach, just in time for the sky to turn the perfect shades of pink and purple as their bellies settled from their yummy Maine meal.
Many thanks to this amazing crew for a fun candid and real session! I hope you all enjoyed your stay in Maine. 🙂
