The S Family | Brunswick Maine Family Photographer

Ten years ago, almost at the very beginning of my career as a photographer, I received an email from Katie inquiring about engagement and wedding photos. Lucky me, she and her then-fiance Patrick chose to hire me, and I photographed both their engagement and their wedding in Portsmouth in 2011 and 2012. A few years later, I had the honor of seeing them again, just weeks after they welcomed their daughter Charlotte to the world, and a few weeks ago, and one more kiddo later, I had the extreme pleasure of seeing them once again for family photos. Baby Charlotte (now affectionately known as Charlie), is now a beautiful and funny five year old, and she and her little brother Parker stole my heart with their fun energy and big love. We had our session at their new home in Brunswick, celebrating their long-awaited return to Maine, and had a stunning night with gorgeous light that illuminated their backyard and the farm across the street. We played in the yard, met the chickens, picked apples, explored the fields, and even hung out with goats. It was a pretty darn perfect early fall session. It was so amazing to continue to photograph Katie and Patrick’s beautiful life, and to see them as such amazing parents and a strong couple still has me smiling a few weeks later. I have so much love for this family, and so many favorites from our stunning evening together.
