The R Family | Falmouth Maine Family Photographer

I love at-home sessions. Not only is it super special to photograph people in the place that means the most to them, it’s also a place of total comfort, which usually means kiddos who don’t need time to warm up, and sessions that are even more relaxed than usual. This was the case with the “R” Family a few weeks ago. I met them at their beautiful home along the Woodlands in Falmouth. Our traditional family session became more of a lifestyle session, as we very quickly transitioned from family portraits to an hour of playing in their backyard – enjoying the fun of the trampoline, zip line, swingset, and their super cute goldendoodle, Mac, too. Candid and playful was so perfect for this family and a good reminder that play is part of childhood – and should be part of family photos too.
