Love what you see?
It’s always easy for me to forget that there is almost always two sides to every family, and it’s funny to me that we so often only know one half of our extended family’s family. So when I learned that I would be photographing the extended “P” Family, I was super excited because it meant I got to meet Jill’s family – Jill who is married to Ryan – a cousin on my husband’s side of the family. (Head spinning yet?) I’ve met Jill’s parent’s before, but this was my first introduction to her sister and her family, as well as her brother and his wife. Jill and I get along very well, so I fully expected to enjoy her family, and I was not disappointed. They are silly, fun, and easy going, and we all had a blast playing in the sand and waves on York’s Short Sands beach one evening last week. I have so many favorites from this candid and fun session and narrowing it down to a blog post was no easy task. But here they are – and many thanks to this crew for letting me meet them all and for being so easy going and fun to photograph.
