The P Family | Bristol Maine Family Photographer

Every year, most of my summer is spent hopping in the car and heading south on 95 towards Ogunquit, the Kennebunks, York, and more. On occasion though, I get the opportunity to head the other direction, and last week with the extended “P” Family was one of these chances. I met this really fun crew on the shores of Pemaquid Beach in Bristol, a place I’ve only ever photographed at once before. I had forgotten what a gem this spot is on the midcoast, with its soft sand and classic Maine trees and rocky coastline. We had a perfect evening, with a hazy setting sun, warm water, and smiles all around from this family that has not had the opportunity for family photos all together in many years. I loved capturing all the different personalities of these four families, as well as the love the kids (young and grown!) have for Michael and Theresa, affectionately known as Grammy and Papa. It was a perfect evening on the midcoast, and I’m so glad I could spend it with this fun crew.
