Love what you see?
For some reason, Bug Light Park in South Portland is never really on my radar when I think of places for photo sessions. When Laura and Andy suggested it for their session last weekend, I remember a light going off and a big “oh yeah!” in my head. What a perfect place it is for sessions, with ocean AND city views, plenty of green area for running, and a gorgeous rocky coastline. Oh, and that pretty sweet lighthouse too. I’m so excited that Laura and Andy thought to have this year’s photos taken there, and to make it even better, we hit it on the perfect afternoon with the sun just slightly peeking out, making for a beautiful sky as storm clouds rolled away.
This is the second time I’ve photographed this family and this year 3-year old Greta was full of energy and silliness as she ran around the park, the lighthouse, and me, making for goofy, fun, and candid photos of this beautiful family. Here are some of my favorites – enjoy!
