It’s a double header on the blog today! With my first wedding of the season coming this Saturday, I am excited to be working hard to catch up before the busy season officially begins!
I am so excited about these photos with the K family, for many reasons. My brother Rion (the cutie in the light blue polo in the first picture), moved to Portland for school a few years ago, much to my pleasure as we don’t get “up home” to Hampden as much as we would like. Shortly after he started school, he met Sara, a super smart, beautiful girl from Connecticut. They have been together for a little over two years now, and Sara is like family to us. The K family is Sara’s family, who traveled up from Connecticut last weekend for a fun photo session on the East End Beach in Portland. To make it even more exciting, Sara’s brother Josh is tying the knot next summer in Connecticut and I am the lucky chosen one to be the photographer at his wedding with bride-to-be Alicia. (Is your head spinning quite yet?!) Joined with mom Joyce, and dad Pete, this crew was FULL of energy and laughs and just so much fun as we took the time to take these photos on Saturday. Here are some of my favorite shots of this family that I am excited to be spending more time with over the next year, and hopefully long after that as well.
