The J Family | Cape Elizabeth Maine Family Photographer

I’m so excited to share today’s featured session – a “round two” if you will, with the “J” Family. Last fall we met up on Sandy Point Beach in Yarmouth, on what ended up being a FREEZING cold evening after having to reschedule our session several times due to rain. While the kids were total troopers, we decided to call it after a very short time, and try again in the spring when the weather would hopefully be more on our side. We totally lucked out, because during this off-and-on spring we seem to be having, we had a sunny and warm late afternoon session on Crescent Beach in Cape Elizabeth last weekend. It’s fair to say we had far more smiles, and a lot more joy to capture this time around, which is exactly how this crew is even when they are not in front of the lens. Heather, Trevor, Zoe, Liza, and Willa are our personal friends and former neighbors. When they first moved in next door, Zoe was just a toddler, and Heather was pregnant with Liza. Fast forward a little more than five years, and we are so grateful to call them dear friends and watch their beautiful family grow. It’s always extra special to have friends in front of the camera, and our silly and energetic beach session was no different. Here are my many, many favorites from our afternoon together. Thanks to these five for always being awesome, and for the friendship they give me and my family as well.
