The HD Family | Saco Maine Family Photographer

It’s hard to believe that we are already at the eve of Thanksgiving, 2020, and I am so excited to share today’s blog post and my final session in November. What a month this has been, my busiest November to date, and I am feeling extra grateful on this day before Thanksgiving for all the clients I have been blessed with during this crazy year. I first met Jenny, Ryan, and Abe last year, when I photographed their seriously-gorgeous home renovations for Sarah Steinberg (see the blog post here). That same day, Jenny and Ryan decided to take advantage of having a photographer in the house and hired me for their first family photos with little Abe who was just three months old at the time. I was so happy to receive Jenny’s email earlier this year asking if I would be willing to return this fall to take their photos once again, and on Sunday I was greeted at their home by a very grown up toddler with the sweetest blonde curls and best smile. We all spent our time laughing as Abe toddled around in his oversized jackets, exploring the yard and marsh, and then headed indoors for a quick 10 minutes in his reading nook for a little pre-nap story time. What a treat it is to be able to watch little Abe grow and get to see Jenny and Ryan for a second year in a row. Here are my many favorites of this really special family. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
