The H Family {Wolfe’s Neck Woods State Park} | Freeport Maine Family Photographer

From the moment I received my first email from Reba, I knew I was going to love her. From her very first message, I knew that Reba was warm, caring, and very excited about bringing her family to Maine this summer. I also knew I couldn’t wait to work with all of them, and I was not disappointed. For the past eighteen years Reba and Bruce have treated their family to family photos, ever since the oldest of seven grandchildren was just a baby. This year they brought the whole crew to Maine for a week, and chose Wolfe’s Neck Woods State Park in Freeport for their annual photos. June this year has been unseasonably chilly, and this night was no exception, with grey skies, and windy and chilly air. This didn’t get this crew from New Mexico down though, and they all so wonderfully embraced the night we got and turned on the smiles and charm as we explored my favorite spots in the park. And to top it all off, I went home with a huge bag of pecans – farmed by Reba and Bruce themselves – such a yummy and special treat, and so thoughtful of them to bring some of their world to mine (my husband is making pecan pie TONIGHT! Yum!). Thank you to Reba and Bruce for sharing their amazing family with me for an evening, and for giving me the honor of photographing this year’s family session. Here are my favorites!
