Love what you see?
As important as it is to have photo sessions when the kids are little and changing quickly, it as equally important to take the time for photos when the kids are older as well. For Julie and Trent, they wanted to have photos with their girls before Kallie returns to Colby College this fall, and Abbie heads of to Ecuador for work. Not having had professional photos taken since the girls were young, they were excited and overdue for a new collection of images of the four of them before everyone heads their separate ways.
Julie is a colleague of mine – a teacher at Yarmouth High School, and while I get to see her every day in her professional world as a fun and well-respected educator, it was really special to see her with her family who I have heard so much about. The thing about this crew is that they truly, 100% like each other. They are family, but it is obvious that they are friends as well – something that I know all of us parents of the world hope to accomplish with our children. I was so touched by how much they interacted and enjoyed being around each other. We started our session in their backyard in Pownal, then headed to Pineland Farms, and finished at the new and gorgeous William Adam Farm down the road (a must see if you are planning a wedding in the coming months or years!). Here are some favorites – many thanks to this awesome crew for asking me to take these photos for them!
