The H Family {Savage Preserve} | South Berwick Maine Family Photographer

The editing train is in full speed ahead mode over here this week as I am working hard to get everyone photos for the holiday season. Today is blog post number two, and another big 10 YEAR session! (So many this year – whaaaat?!) ???? Meg, Brian, Izzy, and Liam are family – cousins on my husband’s side, and I have had the honor of taking their photos size Izzy was just a little baby waaaay back in 2013. These guys live in Massachusetts, so we don’t get to see each other often. Our annual photo session is a chance to capture their family year after year but also a fun chance to see each other and catch up. Over the years I have had the extreme honor of capturing them as they went from one kiddo to two (Liam joined the party in 2015!). I’ve seen Izzy grow from a reserved and curious toddler to a bright eyed, smart and energetic young lady. Liam has kept us all on our toes since he could walk, and his silly personality and fun energy always keeps me laughing. We’ve been to beaches and parks, and through it all I’ve also had the honor of watching Meg and Brian settle into parenthood and their beautiful life together. What a total gift to capture this family.

For this year’s session, we chose the stunning Savage Preserve in South Berwick. This day last week kicked off several days of unseasonably warm weather here in southern Maine, and it was such a treat to explore the preserve on a fall day that felt like late summer but had all the beauty and colors of the late fall. It’s always fun to see these four, but I truly love getting them in front of my camera year after year. This year I really noticed how much Izzy is becoming a young lady (but one who still loves to twirl and chase!), and Liam is as goofy as ever, with a touch of a more serious thoughtful side as well. As always, we had a very fun and playful session at the preserve, and I’m so happy to share my favorites from our gorgeous evening and our special 10th session! Many thanks to these four – here’s to 10 more years of photos together! ❤️
