Maybe it’s because it’s Saturday and my picture-picking brain is on weekend mode, but most likely the reason that today’s blog post is so darn long is that this one is just too darn amazing. After a tricky July weather-wise, August brought it, and this weekend in particular, August went all out. After an incredible evening with the “A” Family in York on a Saturday in late August, I headed the opposite direction to Reid State Park in Georgetown on Sunday for my annual session with Jessica, Tim, Kallie, and Abby. I’ve only shot at Reid once, so I wasn’t terribly sure what to expect for light, but as my family and I pulled into the lot, my jaw was on.the.ground as we saw in front of us islands peeking out of the fog and a perfectly serene cotton candy sky. We started our session along the rocks and trees, and as we headed to the beach, we were enveloped by the fog as the girls played in the waves. This one is one for the books, and one of my most favorite sessions ever. Here are my many, many favorites of this wonderful family on our perfect evening.
