The G Family | Freeport Maine Family and Maternity Photographer

As we headed into Labor Day weekend just a few weeks ago, I kicked off the holiday weekend and the month of September with Rebecca, Josh, and little Cora. We had originally planned to head to Reid State Park for some family and maternity photos, but thanks to Josh’s smart thinking that heading up route 1 on the Friday of Labor Day weekend might not be the best idea, we ended up at Winslow Park in Freeport instead. It was just a few years ago that I discovered the end of Winslow park – allllll the way down the dirt road where non-resident cars are not allowed, and I’ve wanted to do a session there ever since. I certainly did not expect an 8 month old pregnant momma with a two year old to be the first to finally take me up on this location, but she did, and I was so excited. The long walk was worth the effort as I got to get to know these three as we headed towards the penninsula, and when we arrived, we were greeted with gorgeous light as storm clouds rolled into the area. We spent our time exploring with Cora, and capturing the big love that Josh and Rebecca have for her, each other, and the new little one on the way. I can’t wait to see these guys again in a few weeks when baby arrives, and am so excited to share my favorites from our gorgeous maternity and family session in Freeport on this beautiful night.
