The F and G Families {Lifestyle and Portrait Session} | Maine Family Photographer

In the summer of 2020, Katie, Ben, Alli, Nick, and their kiddos decided to hop in their cars and make the long drive from Virginia and South Carolina all the way up to Maine. They picked Peaks Island as their destination, and they asked me to come spend a few hours on the island with them, capturing their first trip to this state. Our time together was so fun, and I was so thrilled when they invited me back to the island last summer. This year, they returned to Maine once again, but this time headed waaaay up the coast to a little town called Brooklin, where they rented a gorgeous home on the water, complete with it’s own little penninsula and rocky beach. When Katie asked if I would be willing to travel that far north, I didn’t hesitate as I always love seeing new parts of the state, but especially love my time with this crew. We spent a full two hours at their vacation home for this lifestyle and portrait session, exploring on the beach, playing wiffleball, taking some family and group photos, and ending it all with yummy s’mores around the camp fire. And of course, we had to do a photo in their annual “Maine” vacation shirts – complete with a photo of last year’s shirt photo (with a photo of the first year’s shirt photo!). As always, it was so fun capturing the silly energy of the kids, the friendship of these two families, and their special time here in Maine, and like before, I left my time with these guys already looking forward to next time. Here are my favorites of this super fun night – many thanks to this crew for asking me to capture their fun vacation once again.
