The E Family | Kittery Maine Family Photographer

If you’ve never adventured to Fort Foster in Kittery, add it to your must-do list this summer. This hidden gem on the bottom tip of the state is such a gorgeous spot to adventure in the woods and along the coast, and is one of those rare places in Maine where the sun (seemingly) sets over the water. It is gorgeous. I was so excited to head back there last week with the “E” Family, and as we started our session, I had no clue how incredible the sunset would become that evening, making these photos full of gorgeous color and depth. Heather is a fellow photographer out of upstate New York, who I had the pleasure of meeting at Inspire Photo Retreats a few years ago. When she reached out about photos during their time in New England last week I was excited to see her again and meet her crew. Heather and Dan are sweet and fun, and both are totally adored by their three children, Sam, Eli, and Lily. Together we adventured on the rocky beach and cliffs, and then ended our session in and around one of the fort buildings on the grounds – a spot I cannot wait to use again for future sessions! I have so many favorites from our stunning evening with this beautiful family, and am so glad they asked me to capture a peek into their trip here last week.
