The next time someone tells me they are unsure about a winter beach session, I’m sending them this blog post, because Kirstien, Andrew, and Piper proved that beach sessions amongst the snow are almost as awesome as beach sessions in the middle of the summer. This was the first time I’ve seen these guys since Piper’s newborn session three years ago, and we came together again in anticipation of baby number two making its arrival in a few weeks. I had fully intended on mostly focusing on the maternity aspect of this session, but little Piper stole my heart from the second she stepped out of the truck, and quickly became the focus of this session. Her bright red hat matched her bright and fun personality, and I suppose fittingly so, she commanded most of the session that was intended to capture the final days of this family as a family of three. I have so many favorites from our gorgeous November afternoon on the beach, and just could not whittle this long post down any more. I can’t wait to see these three (and pup Jake too!) again in a few weeks when they welcome the newest member of their family to the world.
