The A Family | York Maine Family Photographer

Over the past few years, extended family sessions have unexpectedly become a big part of the heart and soul of my business. And while at first I wasn’t sure how I felt about working with large groups, over the years I have come to absolutely love them and all they stand for, and I look forward to all of my large families as well as my smaller ones. Last week I met up with the extended “A” Family – a family with nineteen fun-loving, happy, goofy, and close-knit people, who were so fun to photograph on the shores of York Harbor Beach. These guys were able to come together from different parts of the country for their first family session in five years. With silly cousins and an absolutely hilarious pair at the head of the family, everyone in this crew kept me both laughing and on my toes. We had so much fun capturing all the different family groups, the kids’ personalities, and some fun playful moments in between it all. Here are my many favorites from our gorgeous evening together.
