The 365 Project {2019} | October – Maine Family and Lifestyle Photographer

Time is a funny thing. Some months come and go in the blink of an eye and you’re not really sure how it’s possible, others move along at a reasonable pace, allowing you to take it in and breathe a little. For me, typically my busy months are my fastest, but October, my busiest month ever with client work, seemed to move at a reasonable pace, unlike September and the summer months. I’m not sure if it’s because we became more settled into school and work routines, or because we know the harsh winter months are literally around the corner, causing us to soak up every bright, warm-ish, and happy day, or maybe October just decided it wanted me to be a little more present. Whatever the reason, I’m grateful. October brought an insane workload, but also surprise days in the 60s, trips to the ocean to take it in before the bitter cold arrives, company from family, gorgeous fall colors, the much-anticipated Halloween holiday, and every day moments in between it all. It’s the fist month in a long time where I’m not sitting here thinking “what on Earth happened to that month?” and I’m grateful for the unexpected present moments October delivered in the midst of the busiest work month of the year.

There are 31 days in October. These are our 31 days of October, 2019.
