Love what you see?
There are lots of things that can be controlled during the wedding planning process, but the one thing that we have absolutely no control over is the weather. For a type-A person like me, this can be frustrating, but sometimes you’ve just got to go with it. When Stephanie, Rich, and I were planning their engagement session last week, we knew we’d have to watch the weather closely as they were traveling from Boston and we needed to plan ahead. What was supposed to be a dry evening turned into a pretty wet one so we pretty quickly realized we’d have to make the best out of a soggy situation. Stephanie and Rich were amazing, and thanks to their willingness to be flexible, we got creative and took their engagement photos on some of the pretty porches around downtown Freeport. Towards the end, the rain let up and we were able to let loose uncovered at a local park, giving them some of the more woodsy photos they originally had wanted. I love how these rainy evening photos turned out, and it was so great to get to know Stephanie and Rich a little better before their upcoming wedding this September.
