Spring Minis 2021 | Scarborough Maine Family Photographer

Over the years I’ve done a handful of spring mini sessions, and have come to love them as a way to kick off beach season and get back into the groove with my families after a long winter. Some spring mini sessions are warm, some definitely are not, and this year took the cake for all-around amazing. Last Saturday evening at Higgins was absolutely perfect, with early summer temps, happy kids, beautiful light, and the feeling of so much joy and excitement of a whole Maine summer ahead of us. This year I had five families, including one adorable mother-son session, three families with whom I’ve worked before, and one brand new family, all of which were full of so much love and happiness. It was a true pleasure to see everyone, to get their smiling faces in front of my lens, to capture their first toe dips in the ocean this year, and to capture their love and connection to each other and this fabulous place we all call home.
