{Molly’s “Studio” Session} | Yarmouth Maine Portrait Photographer

If you’ve followed my work at all for any length of time, you’ll know that all my work is on-location – I don’t have a studio. And while this is still the case (for now!), today I got the bug to try something new. So after months of them sitting in my basement, I finally pulled out my brand new studio light set, and decided to have a little fun with my kiddo. We set up a mock studio in my kitchen, with the backdrop, and my three year old, on the kitchen table. (Let me tell you how cool she thought that was!)

For effect’s sake, I’m going to do something I never do on here – share an iPhone photo. But this was seriously so silly and fun, that I have to show you where we started.

And from that little set up, we got these images of my most favorite three year old ever. Not too shabby for a rainy, boring day in the O’Brien household.
