Love what you see?
Spend two seconds with Lauren and Jay and you will have no doubt at all that these two are hands down perfect for each other. Their engagement session at York’s Short Sands Beach a few weeks ago was not only full of giggles, full out laughs, and adorable snuggles, but it was also full of those looks that only two people who are truly in love can give each other. This session was a special one for me, as Lauren and I taught at the same high school together several years ago in Massachusetts. Lauren was always one of my favorite colleagues – bubbly, fun, and happy, and incredibly kind. This was the first time I’d seen her outside of Facebook since my move back to Maine and the only thing that has changed about her is that she is even more happy than before, which I didn’t even think was possible. Of course, this is thanks to Jay who has very obviously brought an additional sense of happiness and light into my friend’s life, and I am thrilled that I not only had the chance to capture this for their engagement photos, but that I will also be able to to capture their wedding day next spring in Boston.
