Katie and Darren {Expecting} | New Gloucester Maine Maternity Photographer

A few weeks back I met Katie and Darren at Pineland Farms in New Gloucester, and while this may have been the first time we met in person, I’ve been hearing about Darren for many many years now. Way back when, Darren and my husband worked together at Best Buy and were good buddies during those days. Over the years I’ve heard many Darren stories, all of which had an underlying theme of how fun, funny, and kind Darren is. When Katie reached out earlier this year letting me know that she and Darren were expecting their first child, and wondering if I would be willing to take their maternity photos, I was thrilled to say yes, and finally meet both of them. This pregnancy and this maternity session are a long time coming for Katie and Darren, and the joy for their little one was apparent as we worked our way around the foliage-filled grounds of Pineland. Katie and Darren are as kind, fun, and silly as I expected them to be, and I absolutely loved meeting them and capturing their excitement for this really special next phase of their lives. I am thrilled to share favorites from our session together and can’t wait to see these two again and meet their little one in just a few weeks.
