Love what you see?
I knew I was excited to photograph Jeremiah and Jayne from the second I received their inquiry a few months ago. Jeremiah described himself as a “boat shoes wearing kind of guy” and explained that the couple would be traveling up from Baltimore for a weekend in Maine as part of Jayne’s goal to see all 50 states. They wanted to do something very Portland and very Maine. Being a lover myself of all things coastal, travel, and Maine, I knew from the start that this would be a great fit and an amazing session. We started along the piers by the Ocean Gateway, and explored the surrounding area including the boatyard and Narrow Gauge Railroad before heading into the Old Port for some early evening shots. I loved hearing about their adventures in Maine during their stay (Jeremiah was particularly excited about their new Sea Bag they purchased in Freeport), and watching these two love birds appreciate both the gorgeous sights of Portland, but also each other. Here are some of my favorites from our evening session on Memorial Day.
