Jack and Henry {Capturing Childhood} | Ogunquit Maine Family and Childrens Photographer

Earlier this year, I introduced my Capturing Childhood sessions, and I am so excited that people are taking me up on these opportunities to capture their kids as they are in their current stage. This afternoon’s post shares Jack and Henry’s Capturing Childhood session, taken along Marginal Way in Ogunquit a few weeks ago. At 12 and 8 years old respectively, these two have passed the uninhibited goofy side of childhood, and are instead in the creative, thoughtful, and inquisitive phase. I learned all about their hometown in South Carolina, their dogs, sea glass, the tide, and types of rocks as we climbed and explored the rocky coast of the pathway. These two made me smile and laugh the entire time we were together – even if they were zipping ahead of me on the rocks, anxious to check out the growing waves from Dorian off shore, and to see what treasures they could find in the tide pools. I wrapped up my time with these two with a tasty treat in Perkins Cove, and a sunset that had me drooling the whole way home. What an incredibly smart, special, and kind pair Jack and Henry are, and I am so grateful for the time I got to spend with them during their first trip to Maine. Here are my favorites from our time together.
