Hugo {21 Days} | Portland Maine Newborn Photographer

Last week I got to photograph my first newborn of the year, and had the extreme pleasure of meeting 21-day old Hugo at his home in Portland. I first met his mom and dad, Caitlin and Mic, last September for their gorgeous maternity session at Reid State Park, and headed into the holiday anxiously awaiting the news of his arrival. Caitlin and Mic welcomed him just hours after Christmas, and after a short extended stay at the hospital, they finally were able to bring him home and start their life together as a family of three. Last week I got my covid test, masked up, and headed to their home where I enjoyed a beautiful morning capturing all the love and snuggles Caitlin and Mic (and their two pups, too!) have for this new little guy. Hugo is so sweet and alert, loves to be held, and is a total trooper while getting dressed, and he kept me giggling the whole time I was photographing his sweet face and little details. I’m so thrilled for this beautiful family and hope to be able to watch Hugo grow through my camera in the coming years. Here are my favorites from our sweet at-home newborn session.
