Love what you see?
It’s always a special treat when things come together just perfectly. Hannah and Elyse traveled all the way from Florida just for their engagement photos on the beach in Maine a few weeks ago. There’s a bit more pressure when someone travels so far for photos and I get especially nervous about things we can’t control, like the weather. But Hannah and Elyse were greeted with the most gorgeous evening on the beach, and not even five minutes after Hannah warned me she was horrible in front of the camera, I realized that these two were INCREDIBLE in front of the camera, and I was instantly wowed by their level of comfort and their affection towards each other.
For me, this session was extra special because Hannah was a student of mine back in my teaching days (yes, I realize that this makes me incredibly old…). To see her so happy and so in love years later, truly warms my heart and I cannot put into words how amazing it is that I get to photograph her and Elyse’s wedding on Cape Cod next summer. These two met during their college days at Elmira, and it’s obvious why they have been inseparable ever since. Here are some of my favorites from our evening on Crescent Beach! I can’t wait for next June!
