Fall Mini Sessions {2021} | Cape Elizabeth Maine Family Photographer

Every year I offer one day of mini sessions in the fall. Usually I’ll brace myself for a marathon day, splitting between the morning and afternoon, and taking anywhere from 8-10 sessions. This year I decided to take it down a notch, and only took five afternoon sessions, and it could not have been a better decision. Not only am I REALLY not a morning person, knowing I didn’t have to get up early allowed me to approach the day with a bigger smile, and taking a more manageable number of sessions allowed me to relax a bit more, and to really enjoy my time with each family instead of stressing about getting behind schedule with so many in the queue. And to make it even better, my time with my five families truly could not have been more perfect. We had a warm October day, we had literally perfectly behaved children, and we had a summer-like sunset on Crescent Beach that was such a gift well into the fall. I’ve been doing minis for several years now, and this year was my favorite, with all of the elements coming so perfectly together for five incredible families. Today I am able to share favorites from four of them, and have created little mini collages of each family. Thank you to all of these wonderful people for bringing their love, joy, smiles, and positivity to my lens for this year’s fall minis!
