Love what you see?
It is hard to believe, but Eric and I have been friends for 20 years. (Man, that makes me sound old. I swear I’m not that old!). We met in 7th grade, when the kids from his town joined the middle school in my town. Since then we have made enough memories to probably write a book – from the silliness of middle school and high school, to the crazy Boston years after college, to now, when we find ourselves as adults, settled down, and starting the middle parts of our lives. Eric is nothing but an amazing person and an amazing friend, so when he met Kerri who is equally as wonderful, caring, and sweet, we could not have been happier to accept her with open arms into our group of friends. Kerri brings out the soft and silly side Eric has always had, but in a way that shows how much she truly gets him and appreciates him. I’ll never forget the first time he brought her to Maine to introduce her to my husband and I. We couldn’t help but smile as we noticed how fun, affectionate, and already in love these two were. It was obvious from the beginning that Kerri was here to stay.
We took their engagement photos at Fort Williams Park in Cape Elizabeth on a perfect late summer evening a few weeks ago. It is always a treat to photograph friends, but this one was especially special for me, getting to really see Eric and Kerri relax in front of the camera and with each other. I am so excited for my friends, and cannot wait to celebrate with them next summer.
Wonderful and beautiful pictures.
