Love what you see?
Last weekend my entire family flew from all over the country to southern California to celebrate the wedding of my brother Pete, and my seriously cool new sister-in-law Erica. You know you are a professional photographer when you get back from vacation and have over 600 photos, but feel like you didn’t shoot much while you were away. It was a busy busy weekend, with my own little family staying in four different places for each of the four nights we were there, but I tried to shoot and capture as much of our adventure as I could. I did not take any photos of the wedding day itself after we had our hair and makeup done (by the fabulous Prive Beauty Group), but you can keep an eye on their photographer’s blog, Lightframe Photo if you’d like to check out the photos once they are ready. The celebration was full of laughter, tears, excitement, and a whole lot of dancing!
What I was able to capture was our time on the airplane, time at my brother and sister’s beautiful home, drive up into the mountains towards Lake Arrowhead, my Bumpa’s fabulous 90th birthday surprise celebration, gift giving for the bride and groom and their attendants, and our fabulous adventures at the Griffith Observatory in L.A. and the famous beach and pier in Santa Monica. It was a whirlwind trip to say the least, but I’m so happy to have it’s story in photos and terribly miss my family already.
