Baby Carson {5.5 Weeks} | Boothbay Maine Newborn Photographer

A few weeks ago, on a steamy Tuesday morning, I headed up the coast to Boothbay, where I met Holly, Chad, and 5.5 week old Carson. Our session took place two days after Holly’s due date, but you can quickly figure out that little Carson decided to make his arrival quite early. Luckily he and mom are both totally healthy, and after a few weeks of getting their feet on the ground, they finally were able to head to their Boothbay home from their home in Boston for some rest and relaxation, and Carson’s newborn photos.

This session was such a dream, set in their adorable and beautifully renovated home overlooking the marshes of Boothbay. With Carson being a little older than most of my newborns, he was a little more calm and alert, and I absolutely loved his sweet little expressions. There is no shortage of love for this sweet little guy (even their pup was doting all over him!), and I’m so happy that Chad’s parents also joined in for a few photos at the end of the session. I’m so grateful that Holly and Chad were able to safely welcome little Carson into their lives, and very happy that I had the opportunity to capture their first photos as a family of three.
