April Mini Sessions! {Wolfe’s Neck Woods} | Freeport Maine Family Photographer

Ohhhh it was sooooo good to get out with my camera and families last weekend! After a very very slow winter, I have been literally chomping at my front door – ready for sessions, and am so happy to share that my busy season finally kicked off last weekend. I wasn’t sure it was going to happen, with rain threatening the whole day in the days leading up to Saturday, but on Saturday morning the forecast miraculously turned and the day looked dry, and we were good to go! I had two families this time around – the “S” Family who I have known since waaaay back in the beginning when I was just getting going and Katie and Patrick were just engaged. They now have two amazing kiddos, Charlie and Parker, and I have had the extreme pleasure of continuing to photograph them together over the years. My second family – the “K” Family is a family that is new to me, but boy oh boy didn’t we gel fast! Kelli and Jay and their two girls Mackenzie and Reagan are so so sweet and just a total joy to have in front of the camera. I hope to have many more sessions together in the future!

These April minis were held at Wolfe’s Neck Woods State Park in Freeport, which was the perfect location on a day with soft skies and cooler temps. If you missed out on April minis, I still have a few spots left for my June minis on June 11 at Crescent Beach State Park in Cape Elizabeth! Reach out if you’d like to grab a spot!

Many thanks to all of these amazing humans for trusting me to capture them together in this beautiful place. Here are my favorites from this year’s April mini sessions.
