Love what you see?
Saturday was a dreary and wet day here on the coast of Maine. My husband had to work all day, and my daughter’s morning began with the passing of her beloved fish, Charlie Brown. After a brief burial, we scooted off to get her ears pierced, something she has been working to earn for weeks, which was able to give us a little happy on an otherwise tough day for her. On the way home, even though the rain clouds were still lingering, Mackworth Island in Falmouth was calling to us, so we risked getting soaked and made the hour long walk around the island. It was chilly, but we stayed dry, and the light was beautiful as we explored the island and it’s rocky beach, wrapping up our trip with a little fairy house building at the fairy house area on the island. A rainy day turned adventurous with my little buddy – a perfect way to spend the one-on-one time together.
