Portland Maine Engagement Photographer {Lindsey and Jon, Engaged}

Lindsey and Jon are high school sweethearts from Falmouth, and are tying the knot next June on Peaks Island. They have since moved to Michigan, but we were lucky enough to be able to fit in their engagement photos while they were home visiting and doing wedding prep last week. We met at Mackworth Island for a morning shoot, and while I’ve done some quick photos on the island, I have been dying to do a full session walking the mile long path that circles it. Lindsey and Jon brought along their two pups, Lucy and Tucker, and it was truly my treat to get to know this super sweet duo and their furbabies as we walked around the island.

I am totally in love with Lindsey’s ring and I can’t wait to take more photos of it at the wedding!

Mackworth was a perfect selection for a shoot with pups  since there are plenty of places for them to take a dip. This photo of Lucy just kills me as she waits in serious anticipation of the ball about to be thrown to her.

And, just a peek at the “behind the scenes” – Jon’s mom, Joyce, was with us the whole time, helping to keep the dogs occupied while we took shots of just Jon and Lindsey. Thanks for the help Joyce!
