{Heather and David, Just a Tease} | Kittery Maine Engagement Photographer

I think it’s safe to say it is officially portrait season, which means I am getting so excited to meet new families, celebrate engagements, and get ready for wedding season which is just around the corner!

This morning I took a drive down to Kittery Point where I met up with David and Heather, and David’s daughters at their home for David and Heather’s engagement photos. In just a few short months, Heather and David will be saying their vows in this very yard, and after today I am even more excited for their big day. Here are a few teasers..more will be posted soon!

{Molly, 2.5 years} | Yarmouth Maine Children’s Photographer

This morning was a typical “errands Monday” at my house. But as we got ready to leave, and I looked at my little Molly all dolled up in her new sweater and ruby slippers, I thought she was looking cute as ever, and  I asked her if she would like to do a quick impromptu photo shoot. She was excited about the idea so we hit up some quiet train tracks here in town and had some fun for a few minutes before going on our way. Many thanks to my mother-in-law, Mary for Molly’s new ruby red shoes, and many thanks to my gorgeous model for being amazing and letting me grab some photos on this early spring morning.

{The M/P Family} | Yarmouth Maine Family Photographer

There are many reasons I love taking family photos. One of my favorite things though, is having families return for multiple sessions. I love getting to know them, and watching their family grow, and of course, having the honor of capturing it for them. I first met Tiffany, Devon, and four year old Parker last March when I took their family photos, and then engagement photos for Tiffany and Devon. These three are about as down to earth and sweet as they can be and I have loved my photo shoots with them. I couldn’t get over how much Parker had grown when I saw him this weekend, and I had so much fun chasing him around the playground and Royal River Park, and capturing some images of he and his mom and dad. Here are my favorites!

Today I hung out with Tiffany and Devon, and their adorable four year old son Parker at Royal River Park in Yarmouth. Just about a year ago, I photographed this awesome family for the first time, on a March day that was warm and in the 70′s. Today was just a bit (ha!) cooler, but it was so wonderful to see these three and see how much Parker has grown over the past year! Here are some teasers – more will be posted soon!

{Spring Print Sale!}

As I sit at my computer this morning looking outside at the blanket of white snow covering my lawn that was almost green just a few days ago, I have to remind myself that winter won’t last forever.
