Last week my my husband, daughter, and I went on a little mini-vacation to Jackson, New Hampshire with our good friends Ryan, Shawn, and their two little ones Maggie and Liam. Ryan and I are very close friends from college, and we used to dream of the day we’d be able to take a little vacation like this with our family. We rented a house in Jackson for two nights, and took the kids on their first visit to Storyland. While we were there, Ryan asked if I would mind taking some family photos for them, and of course this was something I was so happy to do. Here are some of my favorites from their short shoot, and a few from our trip (don’t worry, I won’t bore you with TOO many family vacation photos – just a few!)
The home we stayed at was gorgeous and perfect for a trip with young kiddos. We will definitely be staying here again!

If you haven’t figured it out quite yet, I’m a bit of a sap and this picture just warms my heart so much. I am so proud of my best friend and her adorable family.

Storyland was quite the adventure! I was shocked at how easy it was with three young kids, and how excited the kids got about it while we were there. I can’t wait to return in another year or two and see what my munchkin likes so much next time.

And these are my two most favorite people in the world – my Jim and Molly.

And of course you can’t venture to the White Mountains without going up a mountain or two. Unfortunately we could only see the clouds at the top of this peak, but with the lack of scenery I got to focus on these adorable subjects instead! Seeing my kiddo with Ryan’s kiddo is the craziest thing – it’s like a little her and a little me. They were instant friends on our trip and it almost makes me tear up (again, super sap here – but is really cool).

And here’s the whole gang!

Ryan and Shawn, thank you for inviting us to vacation with you and your amazing family! We love you guys and I can’t thank you enough for asking me to take pictures of you and your kiddos.
OMG those pictures of the kiddos are adorable. You are very lucky to have such wonderful friends to go on such a fun mini vacation with. I love the pictures of Molly and Maggie together. Beautiful families.
